Special Precautions
You will not be able to use Cialis if you are allergic to the pharmaceutical ingredient in it, or if you have had an adverse reaction to similar medications.
Do not take Cialis until you have informed your doctor about any other drugs or medications (non-prescription and/or prescription) that you are using. Include all nutritional supplements and herbal formulas in this information.
You cannot use Cialis if you are scheduled to have any medical procedure. This includes dental procedures.
You cannot use Cialis if you have angina that is being treated with nitrates (e.g. nitroglycerin), or if you have blood pressure or prostrate conditions that are being treated with alpha-blockers.
Your doctor will tell you when, and how, to use this medication. Make sure that you adhere to these instructions.
Can all men use Cialis?
No, a lot of men are not in a satisfactory health condition to be able to take Cialis. If you have suffered a recent heart attack, irregular heart rate, or a stroke, this medication might not be right for you. If you get pains in your chest during sexual intercourse, or if you have uncontrolled blood pressure, Cialis might not be right for you. Your doctor is the only person who can make the correct judgement.
Side effects
Most of the time, this drug causes no side effects. If they do occur, they should only last a couple of days. You may get heartburn, a blocked nose, flushing, back pain, headache, or vision problems. If any of these do not disappear within 2 days, consult your doctor.
Important Information about Cialis
Any of the following symptoms should receive immediate medical attention: severe rash, chest pain, itching or burning when urinating, painful and/or prolonged erection, or fainting.
A serious side effect that may or may not be linked to Cialis is NAION. This is dangerous because it inhibits blood from reaching the optic nerve. The symptoms of this condition would be a sudden loss of sight in either, or both, of your eyes. You would be more prone to this if you have heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, existing vision disorders, or if you smoke and are more than 50 years old.
Cialis storage instructions
This drug should be kept in a tightly sealed container. Keep it somewhere where it can be accessed by children or pets. Store it somewhere cool and dry. Do not expose this drug to humidity or sunlight. If you no longer have use for this medication, or if it expires, make sure you dispose of it in the correct manner.
